Presidential Visit to Mark 100th Anniversary of Louisiana College

Wednesday, June 28th, 2006

This year Louisiana College is celebrating 100 years of academic excellence providing a Christian liberal arts education to the students of Louisiana, region and beyond. As part of the celebration, President George Herbert Walker Bush will visit the campus and be the featured guest for two special events on Thursday, October 26, 2006.

Louisiana College President Joe Aguillard states, “In recognition of 100 years of delivering pre-eminent academic programs in a distinctively Christian environment, Louisiana College will mark the event with a world leader, and recent President of the Untied States. Our college - students, faculty and staff as well as alumni and churches around the state - are quite deserving of such a once in a lifetime honor. We invite Louisiana College supporters from across the state to join us in this great celebration and in the support of student scholarships.”
