Pineville, LA - Louisiana College is proud to announce and welcome Allison Bruchhaus as the Director of College Communications and Public Relations, Justin McCain as the Director of International Programs, and Jodi Martin as the Director of Graphic Services.
Bruchhaus joins the Louisiana College team from Louisiana State University where she received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication in 2004 and the Master of Human Resource Education degree in 2006. Bruchhaus is presently completing her Ph.D. in Human Resource Education at Louisiana State University. She brings experience in broadcast and print journalism, marketing, public relations, and development. In addition, she serves as an international mission volunteer with the International Mission Board and has worked with people groups in Belize, Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, and Senegal.
“The Louisiana College presence is expanding rapidly at home and across the globe. It is a truly exciting time to join the LC community and to see all that God has in store for the many lives touched by everyone involved with LC,” Bruchhaus said. “It is an honor and great privilege to have been selected to join the LC family.”
McCain returns to the area as the Director of International Programs for Louisiana College. He graduated from Grant High School in 2004. He and his wife, Lauren, are coming to Louisiana College from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where they have been serving at a church plant called La Croix Church. McCain graduated from Louisiana State University in December 2004 and from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2009 with a Master of Divinity. McCain has substantial experience working with international students through times of service at LSU and California State University San Marcos.
“God showed me His heart for the nations soon after He saved me at 21 years old and ever since then I’ve worked with International Students in some capacity,” McCain said. “I am praying that the nations are impacted by the redeemed at LC so much that Satan shutters at the thought of trying to stop us! I also pray that we play a small yet crucial part in seeing Matthew 24:14 fulfilled! Join us!”
Martin is continuing her time with Louisiana College as the Director of Graphic Services after receiving the Bachelor of Arts degree in English this past May. She moved to Pineville from Southwest Louisiana to attend LC where she has been both a student and a staff member. Martin has served the LC community during her time as a student directing the Intramural program for two years and has diverse experience as a freelance designer.
“I have very much enjoyed my time at LC as both a student and a staff member,” said Martin. “I look forward to another season of service to the students, faculty, and staff.”
