History Professor Presents Paper

Dr. Scott Culpepper, Assistant Professor of History at Louisiana College, presented a paper entitled, “Fluid Identities: The Fluctuating Shape of Baptist Identity and Typology during the English Revolutionary and Commonwealth Eras (1642-1660)”, at the annual meeting of the American Society of Church History in Washington D. C. on January 4, 2008.

The American Society of Church History is an academic organization dedicated to the study of the history of Christianity and the influence of Christianity on world societies. The annual meeting of ASCH is being held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Historical Association.
