Pineville, LA … Louisiana College Psychology Club recently presented a check for $250 to the Alzheimer’s Association of Alexandria.  According to club president, Jessica Ward, the check was presented to Julie Morris, regional director of the Alzheimer’s Association, during the club’s November meeting.

Ward explained that the club raised the money by holding a silent auction during the LC Homecoming game in October where they auctioned off a football signed by the Wildcat football senior players, two baseball hats and two 50-yard line tickets to the LC vs. McMurray State football game.  Winner of the auction was LC alum, Mr. Jimmy Rea, who played football at LC during the late 50’s and was part of the 1958 Rice Bowl Championship team.

The Louisiana College Psychology Club meets monthly and is sponsored by psychology professors, Drs. Jim and Darla Gilbert.
