Louisiana College is proud to host the annual “Centri-kid” camp sponsored by Lifeway. The Louisiana College campus is alive with activity as over 400 third through sixth graders arrived on campus Monday evening, June 25th. The campers, who traveled from across Louisiana and Mississippi, are sleeping in the dorms, eating in the cafeteria and utilizing all resources on campus. From academic buildings to the soccer field, campers are having a great time.

What is Centri-Kid? It is not the typical summer camp. It is a week-long camp geared for kids who have completed the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grade. The campers will participate in interactive, kid-friendly Bible study, high-energy worship, all kinds of recreational activities and lots of fun! Centri-Kid camps are a part of the “FUGE” camps designed by Lifeway. This year’s theme is Super Speedway.

Centri-Kid got its start in the summer of 2000 with 300 people in attendance. Since then, Centri-Kid has grown to over 17,000 campers in 40 locations across the country.
